Training here at the Velvet Foxtrotters starts on day one with

imprinting,,, from then on we work on a solid foundation...

Bullseye our stallion plays a big part in our training program,,as he

shows and guides the foals,,, he is truly a blessing the way he

operates on voice command..

Rawhide's Runnin Bear,,, 6 hours old graduated from imprinting class...

Halter training start on 3rd day of life,,, not much break around here...

Bear is getting pretty good at parking..

Bullseye & Bear parading for the ladies.. look at us....

Bear at 9 months,,, kinda a big fella,,,carries a sadle like an old pro,,just two

days before leaving home....

As Bear leaves home,, he leaves behind many sweet memories  of fun times

and lots of hard work,, but also a strange sadness,, although he is going to

a great home where he'll never want for anything..

As he left home he was quite proficient in many task,,,

Leads with or without leadrope..

Loads and rides in trailer like an old pro.

Stands to be sadled..

It promises to be great fun to take Bear back out on the trails,,,he ponies

quite well  with Bullseye...

Bear is now a 3 year old with some real trail experience at Huckleberry

state park,, he's a real pro and loves to be on the trail..

Bear is now  doing regular ranchwork,, such as seen here dragging an                        

unwilling quarter horse with rider......

Bear on the trail at Huckleberry State Park,, this was his first trail ride

and the judges gave him a 9.8 overall,, he's awsome,,,,
